The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) index gained during the week of moderate volatility during the week.
Benchmark index CSE-40 was up 135.42 points during the week in buying support. The local bourse was down 99.20 points during the week.
The index opened at 5,133.91 and the index stayed firm during the week before ending at 5,269.33.
ICICI Bank closed at Rs 752.50. IT major Infosys Technologies gained to close at Rs 2,827.95. Larsen & Toubro was down at Rs 1,079.
Reliance Industries was at Rs 716 and State Bank of India slipped to Rs 1,683.50. Tata Steel finished the week at 362.90.
