Aurionpro Solutions Limited announced today it has secured a contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) to provide Automated Fare Collection (AFC) technology and equipment for its Phase I, II, and III networks. The Mumbai-based technology company will supply automated gates, validators, and card readers for various operational sectors of DMRC.
The shares of Aurionpro Solutions Limited were trading at ₹1,707.70 down by ₹7.35 or 0.43 per cent on the NSE today at 3 pm.
The equipment will be manufactured at Aurionpro’s Ghaziabad facility, supporting the government’s “Make in India” initiative. This marks the company’s second major metro project in India, following its recent contract with Chennai Metro.
Sanjay Bali, President & Global Head of Tech Innovation Group at Aurionpro Solutions, emphasized the project’s significance in establishing the company’s position in India’s smart transit sector. He highlighted that the gates, validators, and payment card readers would be indigenously developed products.
Aurionpro Solutions specialises in technology solutions for banking, mobility, payments, insurance, data center services, and government sectors. The company employs over 2,500 professionals globally and focuses on Enterprise AI-driven solutions for its international clientele.
