The stock of Dish TV tumbled 2.8 per cent after the company announced a special package for consumers in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, which have to go digital by the end of this month.

Dish TV shares were trading at Rs 77.9 at 11.45 a.m. While Zee Entertainment was trading lower, Sun TV shares were quoting firm.

New subscribers in the four cities will have access to over 70 channels free-of-cost for five years, the company said. Viewers availing themselves of the offer would, however, have to pay a minimum of Rs 200 per recharge to remain active by subscribing to a pack at least twice a year.
