Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd has re-launched its Esomeprazole Magnesium delayed-release capsules in the US market.
The drug is a therapeutic equivalent generic version of Nexium (esomeprazole magnesium) delayed-release capsules of Astrazeneca AB Corporation.
"The re-launch is due to a change in the capsule colour, the Hyderabad based company said in a release on Wednesday. It is used in the treatment of certain stomach and esophagus disorders.
Dr Reddy’s scrip gained 1.12 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday and is trading at Rs 3,137 by the noon.
