GAIL was broadly firm in the Tuesday morning session on the bourses. At 10.24 am it was the top gainer on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 285. This represented a gain of 3.22 per cent on its previous close at Rs 276.10.
Tata Power charged up 2.85 per cent to trade at Rs 57.75 against Rs 56.15 at close yesterday.
NTPC steamed up 2.62 per cent to quote at Rs 115.55. The share had finished the overnight session at Rs 112.60.
Yes Bank gained 2.23 per cent to trade at Rs 665.20 against Rs 650.70 at close on Monday.
Tata Steel spiked up 2.22 per cent to trade at Rs 220.65 against Rs 215.85 at close last evening.
