GE Power India has bagged a ₹230-crore contract, inclusive of taxes, from NTPC for Barh (Bihar). The company will perform the pressure part metallurgy upgradation for three super critical 660-MW steam generators. This will help NTPC commission the 3 x 660-MW plants, which were started 12 years ago. On Monday, the company had announced that it had bagged a contract worth ₹309 crore from NTPC for the Telangana project. Shareholders will closely monitor the executions.
