Infosys has allotted 114.84 crore bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 amounting to ₹574.23 crore. In a filing to the stock exchanges, the company said: “The board of directors have allotted 114.84 crore equity shares each aggregating ₹574.23 crore as fully paid-up bonus shares in the ratio of one equity share for every one equity share held.” The company had announced a 1:1 equity bonus in April. On Thursday, Infosys shares closed at ₹1,000.90, up 0.51 per cent, on the BSE.
