Shares of KIOCL will remain in focus, as they turn ex-date for the proposed buyback, on Friday. Investors wishing to participate in the buyback, which will be through the tender process on proportionate basis, need to buy KIOCL shares by Thursday. The company intends to buy back about 1.26 lakh shares (representing 1.98 per cent of the total number of equity shares in the paid-up share capital) at ₹170 a share for an aggregate consideration of ₹214 crore.
