Auto shares Bajaj Auto, M&M, and Hero MotoCorp were broadly firm on the market on Thursday. At 10.30 am Bajaj Auto led the pack on the NSE, with gains of 2.13 per cent at Rs 2,580 as against Rs 2,526.25 at close yesterday.
BPCL flared up 1.89 per cent at Rs 904.70 against Rs 887.95 at close on Wednesday.
M&M advanced 1.79 per cent to quote at Rs 1,311 against Rs 1,288 at close overnight.
Idea Cellular gained 1.76 per cent to trade at Rs 182.05 against Rs 178.90 at close last evening.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 1.21 per cent at Rs 2,551.15 against Rs 2,520.60 at close yesterday.
