Hindustan Construction Company Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a contract valued Rs 289 crore to construct a bulk water transmission system for Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd.
The SBI has cancelled the negotiations for establishing a joint venture entity with Visa Inc and Elavon Inc for conducting the merchant acquiring business. The venture was to involve SBI Payment Services Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SBI, and Visa Inc and Elavon Inc.
TRF Ltd has completed the buyout of the remaining stake in Dutch Lanka Trailer Manufacturers Ltd, Sri Lanka (DLT) through its Singapore subsidiary TRF Singapore Pte Ltd for $8.33 million.
DLT, which has manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka, sells trailers in 30 countries and its subsidiary Dutch Lanka Engineering (Private) Ltd is involved in the repairs and maintenance of trailers. DLT also has a subsidiary in Oman to cater to the West Asia market and manufactures and sells trailers in India through its venture with Tata International Ltd.
