The board of Reliance Power will meet on Wednesday to consider a fund-raising proposal by way of qualified institutional placement of securities. Investors will be keen to know the issue size and the number of shares to be issued to QIBs.
The price at which the issue will be placed will also attract attention. In a separate notice, RPower said its subsidiary Sasan Power’s 3,960-MW UMPP has received the Centre’s nod to hike coal mining to 18 mtpa from 17 mtpa.
