Siemens Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the board of directors of the company will be held on October 29, 2011, inter alia, to consider the proposal of amalgamation of Siemens VAI Metals Technologies Pvt Ltd, Kolkata (SVAI) and Morgan Construction Company India, Pvt Ltd, Mumbai (Morgan – 100 per cent subsidiary of SVAI) with the company.
