Pharma shares were broadly firm in the Wednesday morning session. At 11.44 am Sun Pharma led the pack on the NSE as well, quoting at Rs 921.85 against Rs 889.75 at close yesterday.
Cipla advanced 2.60 per cent to trade at Rs 701.60 against Rs 683.80 at close last evening.
ACC firmed up 2.50 per cent at Rs 1,422.05 against Rs 1,387.35 at close on Tuesday.
Lupin gained 2.28 per cent to quote at Rs 1,791.05 against Rs 1,751.05 at close overnight.
Wipro was also on a firm wicket, trading at Rs 580.95. This represented a gain of 1.72 per cent on its previous close at Rs 571.15.
