The board of Syngene International has approved the issue of bonus shares by capitalisation of free reserves in the ratio of 1:1. The company will intimate the record date for determining eligible shareholders entitled to receive bonus shares, in due course, it said. The board recommend to shareholders an increase in the authorised share capital of the company from ₹250 crore to ₹500 crore. The stock closed 1.30 per cent higher at ₹608.20 on the NSE.
