Tata Power charged up nearly 3 per cent to end Thursday’s session at Rs 60.95 on the NSE. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 59.20.
Tata Motors was on firm ground, advancing 2.67 per cent to trade at Rs 354.10 against Rs 344.90 at close overnight.
BPCL flared up 2.37 per cent to quote at Rs 839.70 against Rs 820.25 at close yesterday.
BHEL was also broadly firm, trading at Rs 217.05. This represented a gain of 2.02 per cent on its previous close at Rs 212.75.
Zee Entertainment moved up 1.83 per cent to quote at Rs 392.10. The share had finished the overnight session at Rs 385.05.
