UltraTech Cement surged over 3 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the NSE at midsession on Thursday. At 11.49 am the share was trading at Rs 2,757.70 against Rs 2,673.4 at close on Wednesday. This was a gain of 3.15 per cent.
Sun Pharma Industries rose 2.60 per cent to trade at Rs 891 against Rs 868.40 at close yesterday.
Lupin perked up 2.46 per cent at Rs 2,084. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 2,034.
TCS was trading at Rs 2,642. This was a gain of 2.08 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 2,588.05.
Ambuja Cement firmed up 2.04 per cent to trade at Rs 210 against Rs 205.80 at close last evening.
