Shares of Vadodara-based transformer maker rose 14.6 per cent to ₹1,228, highest since May 2, 2018.
At 2.35 pm, the stock of Voltamp Transformers was trading higher by 14.64 per cent at Rs1,237.10
The company reported 60 per cent jump in March-quarter net profit and 18 per cent rise in revenue, after market hours on Wednesday. The firm also recommended special dividend of ₹7.5 per share, in addition to a dividend of ₹15 per share.
The stock marked sharpest intraday gain since Feb 14, 2018, sees strongest trading volume since March 2018 at ~25x the 30-day average.
