The service would be available at Axis Bank EDC machines installed at select merchant outlets and all debit card-holders could make use of it. An amount of Rs. 10 would be charged per transaction.

He said the bank had set up over 1,80,000 POS terminals across the country. In the first phase, it had tied up with 120 merchants and it would tie up with 500 merchants across AP by the end of March. The service would be rolled out in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Gujarat in the current financial year and all states would be covered in the next.
