State Bank of India and Dena Bank have cut interest rates on home loans by 25 basis points (or 0.25 percentage points) for the upcoming festival season. Dena Bank has also cut car loan rates by 25 basis points.
In the case of SBI, the special home loan campaign is on up to December 31, 2011, the bank has announced on its Web site.
Dena Bank has also reduced the processing fees for home and auto loans by half for the festival season .The benefits will be effective from October 1, states a press release issued by the bank.
