Corporation Bank is conducting a two-day loan mela here on Saturday and Sunday in the YMCA hall on the beach road, according to zonal manager K. Ramanjaneyulu.
He said at a press meet here that loans would be offered at concessional rates during the mela. Housing loans can be taken at 10.5 per cent and vehicle loans at 11.25 per cent. Doctors can get loans at 12.10 per cent and businessmen at 12.50 per cent. There would be no processing fees, he added.
He said reputed real estate firms, builders, and vehicle companies would participate in the mela to showcase their products.
The bank had set up three zonal offices in Andhra Pradesh - Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Nellore.
The Vijayawada zonal office was covering Krishna, Guntur, East Godavari, West Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts.
As on Sept. 30, the business in the zone amounted to Rs 2,725 crore, with the deposits accounting for Rs 1,390 crore.
The zone has posted gross profit of Rs 26.46 crore at the end of September, with its 54 branches.
