UAE Exchange, a Kochi-based non-banking finance company, is planning to open two more branches here in addition to the existing two, according to the Managing Director, V George Antony.
He was speaking here on Wednesday after inaugurating the new office of the Dwarakanagar branch of the company. He said the company, which deals mainly in foreign exchange, offers many other financial services such as personal loans, gold loans, and travels.
At present, it has 400 branches in the country, with 4,000 direct employees.
Antony said, "We have a turnover of 2,800 crores and we are recognised as the number one company in the country, as far as foreign exchange is concerned. We also have 4,000 agents. We are growing at a healthy 18 per cent per annum."
He said the company, which began with a single branch in Kochi in 1999, had come a long way and it would enhance its presence in Andhra Pradesh.
