Visiting Bond Street or Trafalgar Square now promises to be a different experience for Indian students. British Airways has come out with the #FlyBA contest that will give students an opportunity to spend a day with British Airways and experience London and its global heritage.

The Twitter and Facebook contest invites students in India to participate and win a trip to experience London, spend an entire day with British Airways, experience the Waterside HQ, and experience the opportunity to interact with global leaders of British Airways.

To participate in this contest, students in India must submit an entry on the lines of, “As a student, how would you spend a day in London?” on British Airways’ Twitter handle, @British_Airways or Facebook page (British Airways’ Official Page) using the hashtag #FlyBA.

Two lucky participants will win one return World Traveller (economy) tickets each for themselves from one of the 5 cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai to London.

Moran Birger, British Airways' regional commercial manager, South Asia said, “We have been flying to India for over 90 years and continue our long standing tradition to support dreams of students from India to create an outstanding and stress-free on-board experience. We take pride in our cultural heritage which we share with India.”

British Airways now offers students travelling from India to the UK, Europe, US and Canada extra piece of luggage weighing up to 23kg per passenger, in addition to the current allowance of one checked bag. Students can use this offer on any of the 49 flights a week from New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
