The CA Institute has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the IFRS Foundation, a body that oversees the issuance of IFRS standards, a set of globally recognised financial reporting standards.
The MoU will formalise the mutual understanding and acceptance of the rights of each of the parties in the copyrights in IFRS Standards and Ind AS.
The ICAI has also entered into three other agreements with the IFRS Foundation relating to sharing of IFRS knowledge database and its copyrighted materials which will immensely benefit the members and students of ICAI.
