Vadodara-based manufacturer of tamper-evident plastic bags and envelopes, Dynaflex Pvt Ltd has developed special products for the educational institutes and the universities to keep answer sheets and the question papers safe and away from tampering.
The company has developed plastic bags and covers each having unique barcode, which provides it the authenticity and allows the company to keep a track of each bag.
“These envelopes leave an irreversible mark if any one tries to tamper. It has been over a year since they were launched in India and the demand, especially from the educational sector, has been extremely promising,” said Gaurav Vora, director of the company.
The company supplies such covers and bags to Delhi University, Sikkim Manipal University, SNDT University, Jamnalal Bajaj University, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, Gujarat University, Gujarat Technological University and other state education boards.
Answer sheets, OMR sheets and question papers remain tamper proof inside the bags manufactured by Dynaflex.
“Public service commissions, conducting competitive exams are also our customers,” he said. PSCs in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Karnataka are among its customers.
According to Vora, market for such application in India is around Rs 200 crore, while internationally it is around Rs 500 crore.
The company has invested around Rs 22 crore for setting up the plant and processing centre at Halol near Vadodara. The company is eyeing a turnover of Rs 100 crore over the next two years from its current around Rs 40 crore.
Dynaflex gets around 10 per cent of its turnover from overseas markets by selling tamper evident covers for passports and applications in the banking, investigation and civil aviation.
