Edvancer, Wiley tie up for Big Data certification

Online education provider Edvancer Eduventures has entered into a partnership with Wiley for providing certification in Big Data and Hadoop.

The Wiley-Edvancer certified Big Data course is designed for IT professionals, engineering & computers students looking to gain relevant skill-sets and get jobs in the big data and analytics space, at a time when companies are looking for talent in specific areas such as Big Data, IoT, social mobile analytics and cloud.

The big data technologies covered include Hadoop, MapReduce, Yarn, HDFS, Sqoop, Flume, Pig, Hive, Spark & Scala in detail. The students will get to work on cloud-based Hadoop clusters, Shah added.

The course will be delivered by Big Data experts through a live, instructor-led, online class format.

The overall objective of the course is to provide the big data enthusiast a rapid and direct path to solving real and interesting problems in big data using Hadoop – so that they have a diverse portfolio of projects to show employers.

Along with high quality learning content and case studies involving large amounts of data, Edvancer claims to provide the best industry professionals as trainers for the course.
