Exterior Interior Ltd (Exin), a Kolkata-based vocational training organisation, has planned to extend its network of campuses.
Chandan Roy, CEO of the organisation, told BusinessLine that it would add 12 more campuses to its existing 13 during this financial year.
The organisation currently has five campuses in West Bengal, including two in Kolkata. It also has campuses outside West Bengal -- two each in Bangalore and national capital region, and one each in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bhilai. It also has one overseas centre in Dhaka.
At present, it imparts training for Mewar University bachelor and master degree courses in fashion designing and interior designing. It also runs certain skill development and vocational training diploma and certificate courses approved by All India Council for Technical Education and National Council for Vocational Training.
The new campuses would include one each in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Roy said.
It also propose to have campuses in other SAARC countries too. All the proposed campuses would be set up with local partners with capital cost and profit sharing basis at a ratio of 25:75, Roy added.
