The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has a new Chairman in Mr Laxman Das, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 1974 batch.
Mr Das has come in the place of Mr M.C. Joshi, erstwhile CBDT Chairman, who retired on Tuesday, a CBDT spokesperson said. He will hold for now the post of Member (Revenue) in the Board.
