The BJP candidate from Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency, Nalin Kumar Kateel, who was leading by a margin of 1.96 lakh votes against the Congress rival at 12.45 pm, said that the five years of Narendra Modi’s rule in the country has helped the BJP and NDA to register a massive victory in the country.
Speaking to press persons in Mangaluru on Thursday, he said it was the ‘Modi wave’ that helped NDA to win in 2014. Modi wave has become Modi Tsunami after five years of Modi’s rule in the country. People have shown faith in Modi’s rule, and given a tremendous support to BJP and NDA in the country.
Kateel said that people have realised that Narendra Modi can take care of nation’s security and development, and supported him with a massive victory for BJP and NDA. His work, and development, and his leadership have turned into votes, he added.
