The first-ever India road show of the US Department of Commerce’s ‘Select USA’ programme gets going today. The four-day road show will be held in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. It is aimed at attracting Indian investments to the US. The event was launched by the US government in 2011.

Google fans, cheer! The tech giant will launch the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in India today. Google has decided to introduce the Huawei-built Nexus 6P and the LG-built Nexus 5X in India even before the new iPhones arrive on October 16.

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India will observe a token strike today in solidarity with late Suraj Parmar, president of the Thane chapter of the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry. The final report on the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over war-torn eastern Ukraine last year will be released today, Dutch investigators have said. The jet was shot down over Ukraine on July 17 last year, during heavy fighting between government forces and pro-Russian separatists, killing 298 people.
