The AAP’s website is ranked the “most popular” among that of Indian political parties by Alexa Traffic.
Alexa, a global provider of internet traffic statistics, ranks AAP’s website at 3,266 globally and at 329 at the national level.
The BJP’s website comes way behind at 14,515 at the global level, and 671 at the national level.
According to a recent Netcraft Web Server Survey, there are over 191 million distinct active sites.
Alexa collects traffic data on a daily basis from millions of users and then uses a complex mathematical formula on three months' worth of data to arrive at the ranking for each site.
The Congress’ website came third with a global rank of 41,530 and national rank of 3,993.
The AIADMK’s website, with a global ranking of 2,73,180 and national ranking of 18,294, is in the fifth place among Indian party websites.
But it tops the list in terms of number of pages seen by visitors and the average time spent on the site.
The AIADMK leads the pack with 5.3 pages and the average time spent in the site is 6.19 minutes. This is followed by the AAP with 2.89 pages and 4.16 minutes., respectively
