BJP President Amit Shah addressed his maiden parliamentary party meeting on Thursday, stressing the need to build on the mandate achieved in the Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the meeting where, besides the upcoming by-elections and Assembly elections in States like Haryana and Maharashtra, the ongoing agitation by UPSC aspirants was discussed. Minister of State for PMO Jitendra Singh apprised his party MPs of the steps taken by the Government to address the issues raised by UPSC aspirants.
