The railways has decided to run four special trains between Indore and Yeshwantpur next month to clear the extra rush. It will not touch Nagpur but will run via Narkhed and New Amravati.
Accordingly train number 09307 Indore-Yeshwantpur will depart from Indore on February 3, 10, 17 and 24 (all on Sundays) at 8.55 p.m. and arrive on the next day at Yeshwantpur at 11.15 a.m. It will reach Betul at 5.29 a.m. and New Amravati at 10.05 a.m.
Similarly train number 09308 Yeshwantpur-Indore will leave Yeshwantpur on February 5, 12, 19 and 26 (all on Tuesdays) at 1.20 p.m. and reach Indore the next day at 5.05 a.m. It will pass through New Amravati at 3.20 p.m. and Narkhed at 5.35 p.m.
The train will halt at Dewas, Ujjain, Bhopal, Habibganj, Itarsi, Betul, Narkhed, New Amravati, Chandur Bazar, Akola, Washim, Hingoli, Nizamabad, Kachiguda, Mehboob Nagar and other stations, in both the directions.
It will have a total of 14 coaches including one two-tier AC, four three-tier AC, seven sleepers, according to a release from the Nagpur division of Central Railway.
