International Paper APPM Ltd , a group company of International Paper in India, has received the Forest Steward Council–Forest Management certificate.
Such a certification guarantees its customers that FSC-labelled products are made using fibre from certified forests which promote environmental, economic, and social standards for responsible forest management.
Global standard This certification is assurance that the company sources about a third of its pulpwood from certified plantations and the balance is sourced in compliance with FSC-controlled wood requirements. FSC certified products are recognised globally, thereby creating new markets for products.
