The West Bengal Chief Minister, Ms Mamata Banerjee, on Tuesday said the State Government would take necessary steps to ensure normalisation of power supply.
“We will take care as much as we can. It may take 10 to 12 hours for restoration of the Eastern and North-Eastern power grids,” Ms Banerjee told reporters at the Writers’ Building.
She declared early closure of the government offices in the state considering the power crisis.
