Focus-Abengoa Foundation, a division of Abengoa, Spain, on Thursday commissioned a solar photovoltaic facility at Mehsana Jesus Trust (MJT) at Mandali in Gujarat.
This plant was commissioned in charity as part of the Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Power generated by this HCPV power plant will be utilised in the MJT campus, providing the inhabitants with clean energy and reducing their financial burden on procuring electricity, according to a press release here.
Technical work for installation of the solar PV plant was undertaken by Instalaciones Inabensa S.A., Spain, and Inabensa Bharat Pvt Ltd, New Delhi, which are group companies of Abengoa.
This installation time for this highly-efficient technology is also comparitively less than other solar PV technologies.
