As part of its corporate social responsibility activity, B Sriram, MD of State Bank of India, handed over a cheque for Rs 12,11,250 to Abhijit Chakrabarti, Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University, for acquiring three battery operated vehicles to facilitate in-campus movement of physically challenged students.
SBI also donated Rs 20 lakh to the Institute of Child Health for an ultrasound system for the hospital.
