A State level vendor development programme is planned at Mandya on February 11.

The one-day programme is supported by MSME-DI Bangalore, in association with District Industries Centre, Mysore Industries Association (MIA), Tubinkere Industries Association and Somanahalli Industries Association Mandya.

According to Anand, Joint Director of District Industries Centre Mandya, the vendor meet will be held at Lavanya Residency, DC Office Road, Mandya. This is being at district level to facilitate and promote small scale industries in supplying and rendering services to public sector undertakings, medium and large industries.

Major participants at the vendor meet also include large and medium industrial units, public sector units spread across Mysore, Mandya and Hassan districts.

Suresh KumarJain, General Secretary, Mysore Industries Association, said, “the vendor meet is also facilitating live interaction to understand their requirements, and facilitate in establishing business linkages. Also buyers will be able to select the potential entrepreneurs to whom various components, assemblies, sub-assemblies can be outsourced.”

This programme will be inaugurated by P Vishwanath, President MIA. Bhushan Gulab Rao Borse, SP Mandya, SN Ranga Prasad, Director MSMEDI Bangalore, will preside over the function.
