TANFAC Industries Ltd, an Aditya Birla Group company, will be reported a sick unit to come under the purview of BIFR. The fluorine chemicals producer has informed the BSE that it will convene an extraordinary general meeting on August 13, for considering erosion of peak net worth by more than 50 per cent as at the end of the financial year on March 31, 2014 and to report the same to BIFR.
