Uninor has asked the youth in the age group of 18-25 to participate in the Internet for All (IFA) Challenge 2014 to be held at Oslo, Norway, in December.
Two young Internet enthusiasts from India will be selected by the IFA Challenge and will be invited for the Telenor Youth Summit to be held in association with the Nobel Peace Center.
Tech solutionsAnnouncing this here at a press conference on Thursday, Uninor’s Chief Marketing Officer Rajeev Sethi has said that youth can come up with innovative technology solutions to solve societal problems.
“Those who want to bring in a positive change in society can send their proposals by August 31,” he said.
The challenge encourages the youth to come up with solutions to deploy technology to find solutions for pressing social needs, empower societies and promote global peace.
First roundThe first round of the IFA will be held in New Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Agra, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Patna. A candidate will be picked from each centre, who will then go to the finals slated for October 9 in Delhi.
The winner of the final round will get a prize of ₹1 lakh in cash and a free trip to Oslo. One of the two runners-up too will get a chance to take part in the Oslo meet.
