Vodafone has expanded its retail footprint in Tamil Nadu with the opening of two more stores (company-owned) in Chennai on Thursday. The telecom major now has 44 of its own stores in the State, which contributes to nearly 10 per cent of revenue for Vodafone India, according to Suresh Kumar, Operational Director, South, Vodafone India.
The Global Design Store in Chennai at Ashok Nagar and Avadi offers live and engaging retail experience of the company’s products and services. Three more such stores are planned before February. The company invests nearly ₹5 lakh on each design store, he said.
