The Andhra Pradesh Government released Rs 520 crores to those who suffered crop loss and property loss in Srikakulam district when the cyclone, Titli, ravaged the district in October.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu distributed cheques to the cyclone-hit people at a public meeting at Palasa in Srikakulam district on Monday.
The cyclone hit Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on October 11. Srikakulam was the sole district badly hit by the cyclone in AP. Coconut and cashew nut gardens were totally damaged in Uddanam region and nearly 40,000 electric poles including high tension towers were uprooted.
