Prof K Manivannan of the Chennai-based RMK Engineering College has been elected as member of the executive committee of the International Federation of Engineering Societies (IFEES), USA, in an election that was held in Seoul, South Korea, earlier this month.
Prof Manivannan, who is also a Vice-President at the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, will hold the post for two years, says a press release.
It says that the professor has also been appointed additionally as Vice-President (Industry and Academia Relations) of IFEES.
