The formal announcement of the DMDK, MDMK and PMK joining the National Democratic Alliance is expected in Chennai on Thursday.
BJP President Rajnath Singh and the party’s General Secretary in-charge Muralidhar Rao are going to Chennai tomorrow.
“We have sorted out issues with almost everyone. DMDK leader Vijayakanth has already started campaign for Narendra Modi ahead of formally announcing the alliance,” Rao said.
The DMDK will fight 14 seats in the State as part of the alliance.
The BJP and PMK will fight eight seats each.
