An innovation centre will be set up at Visakhapatnam soon, according to AP Innovation Society CEO Valli Kumari.
She told the mediapersons here on Thursday that the innovation society would help start-up companies. It would provide guidance through incubation centres and help in commercialisation of ideas of startups through product development, market research and exposure.
She said that the government would provide facilities like common infrastructure, faculty upgradation, entrepreneurship, learning, providing international mentors and exchange programmes, business networking and promotional events.
She added that a drone manufacturing centre would be set up at Visakhapatnam. Besides, innovation centres would be opened in schools.
