The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has launched a special tour package for monsoon lovers. Tourists will be taken to Sigandhoor, Jog Falls, Shivanasamudura, Gaganchukki, and Bharachukki falls and Talkadu in a deluxe air-conditioned bus.
Sigandhoor and Jog Falls package tour is two nights and one day. The bus for this will leave Bengaluru at 9 pm and reach Sagar (Shivamogga district) at 4.30 am next day. Tourists will be taken to Sigandhoor for Chowdeshwari Devi darshan and later to the world famous Jog Falls. They will also be taken to Sharavati Adventure Camp for water-based activities. Tariff for this is Rs 2,150 per person. The tour package is operated on every Friday and Saturday.
The second package of Shivanasamudura and Talkadu is one-day package. For this, the bus will leave Bengaluru at 7 am from Yeshwantpur BMTC TTMC and reach Gaganchukki water falls at 11 am. Later the tourists will be taken to Bharachukki for Madyaranga temple visit. Post lunch, tourists will be taken to Talkadu and Vaidyanatheshwara temple and return to Bengaluru at 9 pm. The tariff is Rs 800 per person.
