The Nasscom will set up a start-up warehouse in Visakhapatnam soon. The warehouse, which will provide co-working space and mentorship to start-ups, is being set up in association with the Andhra Pradesh government.
The IT industry association has signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday in connection with the establishment of the warehouse. The association is planning to establish such warehouses in tier-I and tier-ii cities in the country to encourage entrepreneurship.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu said the government would take measures to make the State as a hotspot for start-up and incubation culture in the country.
“We are planning a big event in Visakhapatnam inviting those who want to set up start-ups and venture capitalists,” he said.
