Congress President Sonia Gandhi has asked Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah to hand over the probe into the murder of IAS officer DK Ravikumar, to the CBI. “The Congress president has advised the Chief Minister to hand over the inquiry into IAS officer DK Ravi’s death to CBI,” Congress General Secretary in-charge of Karnataka Digvijaya Singh said. The Opposition as well as Ravikumar’s family have been demanding a CBI probe into IAS officer’s death but the Karnataka government has so far been adamant that it will be a CID probe.
