India will square off against a redoubtable South Africa in the do-or-die second Test, starting in Centurion, South Africa, on Saturday. India’s record of nine consecutive series victories will be on the line after the hosts took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series by registering a 72-run win in the first Test in Cape Town.

Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the three-day Refining & Petrochemicals Technology meet beginning in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Around 900 oil industry professionals from India and abroad are expected to participate in the meet organised by the Centre for High Technology (CHT), a satellite organisation of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, in association with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. The meet will facilitate exchange of global benchmark practises on technological advancements in hydrocarbon sector, petrochemicals, electric vehicles and impact on refining business, energy conservation, obtaining bio-oil from biomass and bio-refinery from bamboo feedstock.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will arrive in New Delhi on Sunday on a six-day visit during which both the strategic partners will aim to further expand ties on a range of key areas including defence and trade besides deliberating on Israel-Palestine relationship. The Israeli prime minister will travel to Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Agra also. Narendra Modi had visited the Jewish state in July last year, becoming the first Indian premier to do so.
