The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Kerala will host a workshop on ‘Entrepreneur-friendly emerging Kerala’ at Technopark here on Saturday.

A slew of development and infrastructure agencies of the state government will be co-hosts to the event, a TiE Kerala spokesman said here.

EMERGING KERALA

The workshop is being held as part of the build-up to the ‘Emerging Kerala Global Connect 2012’ event being held next month.

The one-day workshop will discuss what steps the state government needs to take to make the state more entrepreneur-friendly, the spokesman said.

A panel of leading industrialists, management experts, professionals, senior government officials and front agencies of the government will review the prevailing entrepreneurial support system.

It will also seek to suggest short and long term measures to be taken to develop a successful ecosystem for the growth of entrepreneurship in the State.

Key issues coming up for discussion include education and training, access to funding and administrative support, regulatory issues and incentives, says John K. Paul, president, TiE Kerala.
