City-based Gedee Technical Training Institute (GTTI) has inked an agreement with Volkswagen (VW) Group Sales India Pvt Ltd to start a new course in automobile servicing.
The course titled VG-TAP (Volkswagen Group – Technik Ausbildungs Programme (technical education programme) endeavours to bridge the gap between current technology and academics, and theory and practice in modern automobile technologies, used in VW cars.
It would be a month-long course at the institute, followed by two-month practical orientation at any of the VW dealer’s place.
Students with a diploma in automobile engineering and ITI (MMV) can enrol for the programme, after doing the three-month certificate course in automobile service and maintenance technology offered by GD Naidu Charities, GTTI sources said.
The in-take per batch would be 16, the source said.
